Abstract

Novinska fotografija iscrpna je forma i temeljit izvještaj novinarstva na način

da fotografija stvara vijest i daje joj na značenju. Drugim riječima, izaziva reakciju kod

čitatelja pomoću emocije te mu na taj način privlači pažnju, što je njezina najvažnija

uloga, no ne smijemo zanemariti činjenicu da je kao takva najvjerodostojniji prikaz

nekog trenutka te promarač nakraju ipak njoj vjeruje. Zajedno sa tekstualnim dijelom

čini informativnu i tematsku cijelinu te tvori njihov vizualni identitet.

U diplomskom se radu opisuju pojedini vidovi novinske fotografije te se analiziraju

njihovi odnosi. Pojedini su vidovi novinske fotografije nastali u različitim periodima

razvoja fotografije te imaju različitu snagu i utjecaj dajući autoru – fotografu

mogućnost otklona i potpuno „hladnu“ objektivnost, ali i angažman i izražavanje stava.

Fotovijest, fotointerviju, fotokomentar, fotozanimljivost, fotosekvenca, fotopriča, fotoesej,

fotoreportaža i dokumentarna fotografija, njezine su podvrste. Vrlo često mogu biti

slične po temi i načinu fotografiranja pa se razlika među njima nerijetko teško uoči.

Abstract (english)

Press photography is detailed form and fundamental report of journalism in a way that

photography creates a news and gives it the meaning. In other words, it causes a reaction

in the readers by emotions and thus attracts attention, which is its most important

role, but we can not ignore the fact that, as such, most authentic representation of a moment

and observer outskirts though it believes. Along with the textual part of informative

and thematic unit, and represents their visual identity.

In this graduate work are described some aspects of press photography and analyze their

relations. Certain aspects of press photography are created at different age in the development

of photography and have different power and influence by giving the author

- photographer the possibility of bias and completely “cold” objectivity, but also engagement

and expressing attitude. Photo news, photo interview, photo comment, photo

sequence, photo story, photo essay, photo reportage and documentary photography, are

her subspecies. Very often can be similar in theme and shooting mode and the difference

between them is often difficult to notice.
