Abstract

Kvantitativna analiza prijenosa tonskih vrijednosti s fotopolimerne tiskovne forme na tiskovnu podlogu obuhvaća razmatranje osnovnih parametara u postupcima izrade tiskovnih formi iz računala (Computer to Plate - CtP) koji su nužni za postizanje visoko kvalitetnih otisaka u fleksotisku. Fleksibilnost tiskovne forme i deformacije koje se nerijetko javljaju tijekom reprodukcije smatraju se tehnološkim ograničenjima ove tehnike, te ih je nužno definirati i obrazložiti. Upravo će iz tog razloga u radu biti prikazan kvantitativno određen prijenos tonskih vrijednosti u okviru reprodukcije tiskovnih formi od različitih proizvođača od kojih jedan separacijski komplet ima formu izrađenu sa Thermal Imaging Layer (TIL filmom), a drugi s Laser Ablated Mask Layer (LAMS slojem). Ciljevi istraživanja su: proširiti znanja o proceduri pripreme i obrade fotopolimernih tiskovnih formi; definirati mogućnosti reproduciranja različitih motiva primjenom digitalnih sustava izrade fotopolimernih tiskovnih formi; utvrditi različitosti prijenosa tonskih vrijednosti kod izrade tiskovnih formi izravno iz računala koja će zadovoljiti specifičnosti pojedinog tiskarskog sustava. Zaključeno je da je kvantitativnom analizom prijenosa tonskih vrijednosti s fotopolimerne tiskovne forme na tiskovnu podlogu moguće definirati razinu kvalitete reprodukcije te je također moguće postići optimalan prijenos tonskih vrijednosti u okviru tiskarskog sustava.

Abstract (english)

The quantitative analysis of the tone values transfer from a photopolymer printing plate to the printing substrate includes analysis of the parameters in printing plate manufacturing procedure from the computer to the photopolymer material (Computer to Plate - CtP) which is necessary to create high quality prints in flexography. Printing plate's flexibility results with deformations during the reproduction process and is considered as this technique's limitation. For that reason, this research will explore and quantitatively define the transfer of the tone values within the graphic reproduction process. Printing plates from two manufacturers will be used – a set produced by means of Thermal Imaging Layer (TIL), and a set with Laser Ablated Mask Layer (LAMS layer). The goals of this research are: to expand knowledge about the preparation procedure and the photopolymer printing plate treatment with; to define possibilities of the variuos' motives reproduction through the digital production systems; to define the tone value transfer differences, in manufacturing printing plates from a computer, that will satisfy each printing system specifically. It is concludedthat by means of the tone value transfer analysis from a photopolymer printing plate to the printing substrate one can define the reproduction quality level and also reach an optimal tone value transfer within the printing system.
