Abstract

U grafickoj tehnologiji je primarni cilj dobiti što kvalitetniju reprodukciju. Cimbenik

koji najviše utjece na kvalitetu reprodukcije je deformacija rasterskog elementa. Da bi

minimalizirali mogucnost deformacije potrebno je kvalitetno postaviti tiskarski sustav i

uzrok. Da bi sliku reproducirali u tisku treba napraviti rastriranje, a to je proces

prevodenja višetonske slike u jednotonsku pomocu rastera. Danas se pretvorba

višetonske slike u rastersku u pravilu ostvaruje njezinom racunalnom obradom, a tonovi

se simuliraju amplitudnom modulacijom (razlicitim velicinama ) ili frekvencijskom

modulacijom ( razlicitom gustocom rasterskih elemenata ). U ovom radu se nastoji

ukazati na neke kljucne razlike izmedu reprodukcija AM i FM rasterom.

Abstract (english)

In graphic technology the primary goal is to get the best possible reproduction. Factor

that effects the most on quality is the deformation of the screen dot. To minimize the

possibility of deformation it is necessary to set the quality of the printing system and the

couse. To reproduce a picture in printing we must do the screening and that is a process

of translation continous tone originals into black and white information using a halftone

screen. Today, the conversion of the continous tone originals into screening elements is

generally realized by computer processing and the tones are simulated with amplitude

modulation ( different sizes ) or frequency modulation ( variable spacing ). This work

seeks to emphasize on some key differences between reproductions with AM and FM

screening.
