Abstract

U ovom radu obrađuje se pojam fotografije širokog dinamičkog raspona. Dinamički raspon scene u prirodi je razlika između osvijetljenih i sjenovitih područja i veći je što je scena kontrastnija te uvelike prelazi dinamički raspon ljudskog oka, senzora fotoaparata, zaslona računala ili mogućnosti ispisa. Fotografija širokog dinamičkog raspona je fotografija koju se zapisuje u posebnom digitalnom zapisu i sadrži zapisane sve vrijednosti luminacije scene. Dakle, postoji način bilježenja širokog dinamičkog raspona, ali tehnologija fotoaparata i tiska još nije mogućnosti snimiti (pri jednostrukoj ekspoziciji) odnosno otisnuti takav raspon tonova. Proces izrade ovakve fotografije sastoji se od snimanja dinamičkog raspona višestrukim ekspozicijama iste scene, generiranja fotografije širokog dinamičkog raspona iz dobivenih fotografija te ponovnim smanjivanjem dinamičkog raspona tonskim mapiranjem kako bi fotografiju bilo moguće prikazati, odnosno otisnuti. Praktičnim primjerima detaljno je opisan proces izrade fotografije širokog dinamičkog raspona te kreativne mogućnosti koje ona nudi.

Abstract (english)

Main subject of this dissertation is high dynamic range (HDR) photography. Dynamic range of a scene in nature is difference between its highlights and shadows, the greater the contrast of the scene the greater the dynamic range is and it greatly surpasses posibilities of the human eye, camera sensor, computer screen or print. High dynamic range image is an image that is stored in special digital format and it stores values coresponding to luminance values of a scene. Therefore, there is a way to store high dynamic range but the technology of cameras, displays or print is still not capable of capturing (in a single exposure) or displaying that range. Process of making HDR photograph consists of taking multiple exposures of the same scene, generating HDR format from those

exposures and then reducing dynamic range by tone mapping to make it suitable for printing or viewing on computer monitors. Full description of the creative process and possibilities is given trough practical examples of HDR photographs.
