Abstract

Diplomski rad usmjerava pozornost na razvoj i kompleksnost modne fotografije te ukazuje kako je to zahtjevna vrsta fotografije koja okuplja čitav tim ljudi koji sudjeluju u njenom nastajanju. Naglasak se stavlja na fotografa koji ima zadatak da viziju svojega tima i njegovih pojedinaca složi u harmoničnu i smislenu cjelinu. Mora znati kako točno želi da mu fotografija izgleda i što njome želi postići. Cilj istraživanja je osvjestiti pojedinca da kad lista časopis i vidi prekrasne fotografije zamamnih modela, ne podcijeniti modnu fotografiju mišlju kako je bio dovoljan samo jedan klik. Hipoteza rada je da je područje modne fotografije dodirno područje primijenjene i umjetničke fotografije te da je razvoj modne fotografije bitno doprinijeo razvoju fotografije kakva je danas poznata.

Abstract (english)

The thesis draws attention to development and complexity of fashion photography thus showing how demanding type of photography it actually is which brings together a whole team of professionals who participate in its making. The focus is on a photographer whose task is to put together different ideas of various team members into a meaningful and harmoniuos unit. The photographer needs to know exactly what the appearance and the goal of a certain photograph is. The main aim of the research is to teach the public not to underestimate the value of fashion photography. When flipping through pages of a fashion magazine and looking at the photographs of stunning models one should be aware that it takes much more to take a particular photo than just a single shot. The hypothesis of the thesis is that the fashion photography field is closely related to art and applied arts photography and that the development of fashion photography has significantly contributed to the development of photograpy as it is today.
