Abstract

Grana zaštitnog tiska na tržištu postaje sve popularnija među tiskarima ne bi li

se očuvala autentičnost određenih proizvoda, no razvoj tehnologije olakšava posao krivotvoriteljima.

Zato se zaštitni tisak zasniva na softverskim i hardverskim rješenjima koji

se zasnivaju na tehnologijama teško dostupnim široj javnosti. Posebnu ulogu u zaštitnom

tisku imaju papir za zaštitni tisak napravljen posebnim procesom tako da sadrži posebna

vlakna, i vodene znakove napravljene u toku procesa izrade papira, te bojila za zaštitni

tisak koja pod raznim utjecajima mogu promijeniti izgled. Osim materijala ponekad je i

sami dizajn najbolje riješenje. Često su samo tanke linije i ornamenti napravljeni od njih

dovoljna zaštita jer strojevi kojima raspolažu krivotvoritelji obično ne proizvedu vjernu

kopiju originala. Različite tehnike tiska kombinirane jedne s drugima su također način

zaštite. Dakle, što je veći broj zaštita bolja je i zaštićenost dokumenta, no usprkos tome

krivotvorenje je i dalje sve popularnija vrsta kriminala.

Abstract (english)

Security printing branch on the market is becoming more and more popular among

printers in order to preserve authenticity of certain products but the technology development

eases it on the counterfeiters as well. This is why the security printing is based on

software and hardware solutions hardly available to general public. Security printing paper,

made during a special papermaking process to contain special threads and fibers, and

water marks has an important role, as well as the security printing inks, which can, under

various influence change appearance. Other than the materials, the design itself can be the

best solution. Ornaments and the fineline patterns that make them can often be a sufficient

protection because the equipment the counterfeiters have available usually cannot produce

a good enough copy of the original. Different printing techniques combined can also

be a means of protection. Document security is defined by the number and quality of the

different types of security devices, but despite that counterfeiting as a criminal activity is

becoming more and more popular.
