Abstract

U grafičkoj reprodukciji uz cijenu i brzinu izuzetno je važna kvaliteta reprodukcije. Za kvalitetnu reprodukciju potrebno je postići konzistentnost u reprodukciji boja, koju osigurava sustavno upravljanje bojom. Najvažnija komponenta sustavnog upravljanja je profil uređaja. On opisuje taj uređaj sa stajališta reprodukcije boje. Zato kvaliteta samog profila izravno utječe na kvalitetnu reprodukciju boje. Reprodukcijski sustav sastoji se od niza uređaja koje opisuje niz profila. Optimalni rezultati se postižu kada je svaki uređaj u tom nizu pravilno okarakteriziran i kalibriran. Izlazni uređaj može imati više tipova profila u ovisnosti o tipu podloge na koju se tiska.

U ovom radu je istražen utjecaj izlaznog profila na kvalitetu reprodukcije slike. Izrađena su dva profila za dva tipa papira, a njihov utjecaj na kvalitetu reprodukcije određen je pomoću kolorimetrijske razlike. Na osnovu dobivenih rezultata utvrđeno je kako se mijenjaju kolorimetrijske karakteristike reprodukcije kada se upotrijebi profil koji nije odgovarajući za određeni tip papira.

Abstract (english)

In graphic reproduction, besides speed and cost, quality is very important. To provide quality reproduction it is necessary to obtain consistency in color reproduction, which is obtainable with color management system. The most important component in color management system is a device profile that describes a device in terms of color reproduction. Therefore, quality of a profile directly influences quality of the whole reproduction. A reproduction system is consisted of variety of devices described by variety of profiles. Optimal results are achieved when all devices in a reproduction system are characterized and calibrated. Output device may have several types of profiles depending of type of surface on which printing occures. This thesis examines the effect of output profile on quality of image reproduction. Two profiles were made for two different types of paper. Their influence on quality of reproduction was determined with colorimetric difference.

On the basis of gathered results it is determined how colorimetric characteristic of reproduction changes when invalid profile is used for certain type of paper.
