Abstract

Tema diplomskog rada uključuje opise i obrazloženja svih segmenata fotografije koja je na bilo koji način povezana s dizajnom. U radu se analizira podjela i postupci pripreme za snimanje i snimanje različitih tipova fotografije od table-top i fotografije hrane, produkt fotografije, fotografije interijera, sve do modne fotografije kao jedne od najkomercijalnijih u ovom pogledu. Osim navedenih postupaka, analiziraju se i razlike u istima kod različitih tipova fotografije, najčešće greške koje se događaju pri snimanju te kako se pravilno snima određeni motiv, koja se rasvjeta pritom koristi i ostale pojedinosti vezane uz fotografiranje. Kao jedan važan segment fotografije koja se snima u svrhu dizajna, spominje se retuširanje fotografija koje se u svakom od navedenih tipova fotografije provodi iz različitih specifičnih razloga te se opisuje način na koji se provodi. Fotografija je jedan od najvažnijih segmenata koji čine grafički dizajn i vrlo često bez dobre fotografije nema niti dobrog dizajna. Stoga rad sadržava i eksperimentalni dio sa vlastitim primjerima pripreme za fotografiranje, postavljanja rasvjete i samim snimanjem te naknadnom obradom fotografije s namjenom za određeni grafički medij. Temeljem teoretskih saznanja, ciljano se tehnički, sintaktički i semantički snimaju i realiziraju autorske fotografije.

Abstract (english)

The subject of the thesis includes descriptions and detailed explanations of all photographical segments in any way design-related. The thesis analyses the structure and the photo shoot preparations, as well as various types of photography from table - top, food photography, product photography, interior photography all the way to fashion photography, which is one of the most commercial types in this area of expertise. Besides the aforementioned actions, there is also the analysis of the differences among different types of photography, such as the most common mistakes at a photo shoot, with a correct way to capture a certain motif, as well as finding the ideal lighting setting and the other notable photographic details. Photo editing is mentioned as an important segment of design photography. Each of the mentioned photo categories relies on specific photo editing procedures that are sistematically elaborated further in the thesis. Photography is one of the most important segments of the graphical design, and there can be no good design without good photography. Therefore the thesis contains an addition of my own examples of a correct photo shooting setup, as well as the shooting itself with the photography postprocessing, aimed at specific graphical mediums. Based on theoretical findings, it's made possible to technically, syntactically and semantically produce original photography.
