Abstract

Tema ovog rada je Zagreb noću, gdje se uz pomoć noćnih fotografija grada

Zagreba, nastalih isključivo korištenjem duge ekspozicije i slikanjem svjetlom,

naglašavaju određeni dijelovi grada te se pruža mogućnost sagledavanja grada iz noćne i

kreativne perspektive. Kako bi se lakše shvatio postupak nastanka samih fotografija te

kako bi se mogle primjeniti osobno, kroz rad se postepeno upoznavaju sve ključne

postavke za dobivanje noćnih fotografija uz pomoć korištenja duge ekspozicije i

slikanja svjetlom.

Za početak su objašnjeni pojmovi kao što je ekspozicija, vrijeme eksponiranja,

otvor objektiva, osjetljivost, zakon reciprociteta, zbog čega se koristi fokusiranje

centralnom točkom te važnost bijelog balansa i histograma. Dalje u radu, opisani su

motivi kod kojih se koriste tehnike snimanja duge ekspozicije, koje su to kreativne

tehnike duge ekspozicije i kako nastaju te problemi koji se mogu javiti prilikom

snimanja s dugom ekspozicijom. Posebno poglavlje posvećeno je slikanju svjetlom,

gdje je kroz povijest “light painting”-a i načine dobivanja efekta slikanja svjetlom

dodatno objašnjeno korištenje ove kreativne tehnike.

Praktični dio sadrži autorske fotografije nastale temeljem istraživanja načela i

postavki za ovakvu vrstu fotografije te se daje uvid u to kako na kreativan način krenuti

u istraživanje grada, u ovom slučaju Zagreba, korištenjem duge ekspozicije i slikanjem

svjetlom. Uz navedeno, snimljene fotografije na kraju se analiziraju te se dobiva uvid u

to kako različite postavke i uvjeti korištenja duge ekspozicije i slikanja svjetlom utječu

na krajnji rezultat.

Abstract (english)

The theme of this thesis is Zagreb at night, where with the help of pictures at night

in Zagreb, created exclusively using long exposure light painting and emphasize certain

parts of the city and offers a possibility of analysis of the night, and creative

perspective. To make it easier to understand the process of creation and the image to be

applied in person, through the work will getting to know gradually all the key settings

for night photography with the help of using a long exposure and a light painting.

For the beginning there are explained the concepts as exposure, exposure time,

aperture, sensitivity, the law of reciprocity, why is used a central focus point and the

importance of white balance and histograms. Further in operation are described the

motives which make use of recording techniques long exposure, what are the creative

techniques of long exposure and problems that can occur when shooting with long

exposure. A separate chapter is devoted to painting light, where is through the history of

"light painting"and through how to obtain the effect of painting light further discussed

the use of creative techniques.

The practical part contains original photographs formed the basis of the principles

and research settings for this kind of photography and gives insight into how a creative

way to explore the city, in this case, Zagreb, using a long exposure and a light painting.

In addition, the captured image is analyzed at the end and get some insight into how the

different settings and conditions of use long exposures and painting light affect the final

result.
