Abstract

Diplomski rad se bavi temom fotografije na društvenim mrežama s naglaskom na suvremenu modnu fotografiju. Obrađuje se fotografija s tehničke i umjetničke strane kao i sa sociološkog aspekta. Fotografija kao medij dostupan svima dopušta slobodu vizualnog izražavanja na društvenim mrežama koje su više sociološkog karaktera kao i onima koje su namijenjene specifičnom sadržaju kao što je npr. fotografija. U velikom rasponu društvenih mreža kao i njihovih korisnika stvara se velika baza fotografija na internetu. Tehničke karakteristike se prvenstveno odnose na dimenzije i kvalitetu fotografije dok umjetničke karakteristike dobivaju nove vrijednosti. Naročito promatrajući modnu fotografiju koja nalazi novi put do publike putem blog-ova, tumblr-a te drugih platformi. Osim novih kanala putem kojih se prezentira, suvremena modna fotografija je izrazito pročišćena i vizualno privlačna. Diplomski rad naglasak stavlja na suvremenu modnu fotografiju koja je minimalistička te odjeću približava publici propagirajući određeni životni stil koji je mladenački, urban i neopterećen. Takva vrsta fotografije nalazi snažno uporište u underground kulturi prvenstveno mladih koji se s njom identificiraju te koristeći društvene mreže brišu granice između profesionalnih modnih fotografija te onih nastalih u nečijoj dnevnoj sobi.

Abstract (english)

This thesis deals with photography on social networks with emphasis on contemporary fashion photography. It deals with photography from tehnical and art aspect as much as on social. Photography as media is approachable to everyone and it allows to exspress themselves on social networks, especially ones which are focused on photography. In large range of social networks an their users, there is big database of photos on internet. Tehnical characteristics, in the first place, are related to dimensions and quality of photos while esthetic characteristics obtain new values. It is noticeably especially when the fashion photography is more closely observed. Except new media by which it is presented, contemporary photography is depurated and visually appealing. This thesis emphasis on contemporary photography bringing clothes closer to the public while it propagates certain lifestyle that is youthful, urban and unencumbered. That kind of photography has a stronghold in underground culture, primarily connected to the young people who are identified whit it while they use social networks and sweep borders between professional fashion photos and those that are created in someones living room.
