Abstract

U ovom radu je kroz teorijski okvir opisana izrada dizajna mobilne aplikacije za nautičare s naglaskom na korisnički orijentirani dizajn. Objašnjena je povijest korisnički orijentiranog dizajna, zatim što je to korisničko iskustvo i koja je njegova uloga kod dizajna te tko su ljudi koji se bave takvom vrstom dizajna. Također su objašnjene metode istraživanja i metode testiranja koje se provode tokom cijelog procesa stvaranja korisnički orijentiranog dizajna.

U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada provedeno je anketno ispitivanje ciljane skupine. Poslije provedene ankete krenulo se sa kreiranjem persona te sortiranjem kartica otvorenog i zatvorenog tipa, nakon čega su provedena daljnja testiranja prototipova, papirnatih i žičanih modela, što je u biti bila osnova kako bi se nastavilo sa dizajniranjem aplikacije koja stavlja naglasak na korisničko iskustvo. Cilj ovakve vrste istraživanja je procjena funkcionalnosti i prilagodljivosti mobilne aplikacije krajnjem korisniku. Aplikacija je izrađena za mobilne telefone operacijskog sustava Google Android.

Abstract (english)

This paper, through theoretical framework, describes production of the mobile application design for sailors which is focused on user oriented design. It explains the history of user oriented design, meaning of user experience, what kind of role it has in the design process and who are the people who deal with this kind of design. Methods of research and testing methods that are implemented through the process of creating user oriented design are explained as well. In the experimental part of paper, we are introducing the results of the survey testing on the targeted audience. After the survey, a persona was created and open and closed cards were sorted. From there, we conducted a further testing on paper prototypes and wireframes, in order to get a basis to continue with the design process of the application that puts the accent on the user experience. The goal of this type of research is to assess the functionality and flexibility of mobile applications to the user. The application is designed for mobile phones that are using operating system Google Android.
