Abstract

Život pojedinca u svijetu koji se interpretira užurbanim i tehnološki naprednim, tema je ovog rada koji, metodom vizualnog istraživanja na samoj margini suvremenog grafikog dizajna, stvara alternativni vizualni jezik. Rad na inovativan naiin istražuje proces mapiranja podataka iz okoliša pri kretanju pojedinca sredstvom javnog prijevoza. More fokus na razumijevanju vrijednosti koje okružuju pojedinca. Kroz odabrani medij - grafiku mapu, na umjetniiki naiin prikazuje se karta javnog gradskog prijevoza grada Zagreba. Proces njezinog nastanka pobliže se objašnjava fotografjom i pokretnom grafkom u obliku kratkog dokumentarnog flma sve u svrhu prenošenja znaienja i atmosfere jedne takve vrste vizualnog istraživanja. Grafike mape, nastale ruinim iscrtavanjem kretnje javnog prijevoza, pružaju nelinearno individualno iskustvo koje promatrai može interpretirati i svrstati među suvremene defnicije prostora i vremena. Rad prikazuje da grafiki dizajn, koliko god za razliku od drugih znanstvenih disciplina bio slobodan u analizi podataka, također ima svoje procese nastajanja koji ga iine relacijskim i trajnim. Less

Abstract (english)

The life of the individual in the world, which is interpreted as bustling and technologically advanced, is the theme of this paper that, using the method of visual research on the very edge of contemporary graphic design, creates an alternative visual language. In an innovative way, this paper explores the process of mapping environmental data through the individual's movement through public transport. More statistical methods, qualitative research is used, whose focus is on understanding the values that surround the individual. Through the selected media - graphic map, Zagreb’s public transportation system is shown in an artistic way. The process of its creation is explained in detail through photography and moving graphic in the form of a short documentary flm, all for the purpose of transmitting the meaning and atmosphere of such kind of visual exploration. Graphic maps, created by manual mapping of public transport movements, provide nonlinear individual experience that the observer can interpret and classify as a contemporary defnition of space and time. The paper shows that graphic design, as opposed to other scientifc disciplines, was free in data analysis, also has its own processes of formation that make it relational and durable. Less
