Tipografija kao element zaštite na legitimacijskim dokumentima

Abstract

Legitimacijski dokumenti poput ulaznica i prijevoznih karata su u velikoj većini slučajeva korišteni samo jednom i potom bačeni, na njima nije preporučeno koristiti komplicirane tehnike tiska i zaštite iz jednostavnog razloga jer su preskupe da bi se našle na jednokratnom proizvodu. Uz holograme, UV boju i slične već postojeće tehnike zaštite takvih dokumenata, tipografija se često zanemaruje od strane korisnika, ali ona upravo zato može jako dobro poslužiti kao element zaštite. Korištenje posebno dizajnirane tipografije može se stvoriti dodatno sredstvo zaštite bez da bude lako primjetno kao što su to hologrami ili posebni uzorci. Metodama namjerne greške te uređivanja već postojeće poznate tipografije će se stvoriti nova tipografija te će se u anketi usporediti i odrediti koliko je primjetna razlika između njih dvoje kod krajnjih korisnika. Da služi kao primjer u anketama, dizajnirat će se ulaznica za događaj. Osmislit će se nekoliko primjera kao npr. jedan bez ikakvih pozadinskih elemenata, koji će eliminirati bilo kakav utjecat na uspoređivanje tipografije, jedan primjer sa pozadinskim elementom poput guillochea kako bi utvrdili da li će se tada teže primijetiti određene razlike itd. Uređena tipografija će biti korištena za informacije koje se otisnu prilikom izdavanja karte.

Abstract (english)

Vouchers tickets and passes are used once and thrown away immediately, because of that complicated printing techniques and security measures are way too expensive to be used on a single use document. Because of holograms, UV color, and similar pre-existing printing techniques used for protecting such documents, typography is often overlooked by users, but for this reason it can serve very well as an element of protection. The use of specially designed typography can create additional protection without being easily noticeable unlike holograms or special patterns. Using methods of deliberate mistakes and editing of known typography new typography will be created and compared to determine how noticeable the difference between the two is to the end users. To use as an example, an event ticket will be designed. A couple of examples will be devised, one without any background elements, which will eliminate any impact to the comparison of typography, one example with a background element such as guilloche to determine if certain differences will be harder to notice and so on. The typography that will be edited will be used for the information printed when issuing the ticket.
