Abstract

Uz ikone i tipografiju boja se smatra jednim od osnovnih elemenata dizajna. To je segment koji se najlakše pamti kada se susrećemo s nečim novim. Postoje razna istraživanja koja pokazuju kako određene boje i nijanse istih doprinose različitim emocijama, te se iz tog razloga dizajneri služe psihologijom boja kako bi dobili željenu reakciju kod korisnika svojih aplikacija. U ovom diplomskom radu proučavati će se važnost i postupak odabira boja UX dizajnera kako bi se postiglo optimalno korisničko iskustvo. U teoretskom dijelu objašnjena je boja, kao i važnost psihologije boja tj. kako one utječu na naše emocije te nam privlače pozornost. Na kraju teorijskog dijela objašnjen je postupak koji se koristi pri odabiru palete boja. Kroz praktični dio ovog diplomskog rada fokus je na dizajniranju prototipa aplikacije s optimalnim korisničkim iskustvom, a provedena su i testiranja kako bi vidjeli koji je od ponuđenih dizajna privlačniji za korištenje.

Abstract (english)

Along with icons and typography colours is considered as a key element of design. It is the segment that is easiest to remember while looking at something new. There are various studies that show influence of certain colours and their shades on human emotions. For this reason designers use colour psychology to get the desired reaction from the users of their applications. This thesis is exploring the importance of colour selection process for UX designers in order to achieve optimal user experience. In first part of the thesis the colour is defined, and we learn the importance of colour psychology, i.e. how colours affect our emotions and attract our attention. To conclude the first part of the thesis we learn about the procedure of choosing effective colour palette. In the second part of the thesis the focus is on creating app design with optimal user experience. In the end the tests were conducted to see which of the offered designs is more attractive to the user.
