Abstract

Ovim diplomskim radom obraĎena je dvostruka ekspozicija, fotografska tehnika u kojoj se preklapaju dva ili više različitih prizora unutar istog fotografskog kadra.

U teorijskom dijelu rada opisani su počeci primjene ove tehnike kroz povijest, odnosno njezina prvotna primjena u analognoj fotografiji sve do danas, kada se vrlo često koristi u digitalnoj fotografiji.

U eksperimentalnom dijelu korištene su tri metode dobivanja dvostruke ekspozicije. Za prvu metodu korišten je analogni fotoaparat Nikon FM2. U ovoj metodi bitno je nakon okidanja prvog kadra (tamnijeg) zaustaviti navijanje filma, tako da se ponovnim okidanjem (svjetlijeg kadra) ponovno eksponira isti dio filma. Za drugu metodu korišten je digitalni fotoaparat Nikon D5100 s opcijama multiple exposure i image overlay koje omogućuju snimanje višestrukih ekspozicija direktno u fotoaparatu. Dvostruka ekspozicija dobivena je na način da nakon okidanja prve ekspozicije, u odreĎenom vremenskom roku do ponovnog otvaranja zatvarača, promijenimo kadar. Trećom metodom pokazana je mogućnost dobivanja iste tehnike u programu za obradu fotografija Adobe Photoshopu.

Cilj istraživanja je predstaviti i usporediti tehnike dvostruke ekspozicije, počevši od samih početaka dobivanja iste u analognom fotoaparatu, preko odabira opcije ugraĎene u digitalnom aparatu, pa sve do modifikacije fotografija u nekom od programa za obradu fotografija.

Radom se želi postići uvid u ne tako novu, ali sve zanimljiviju tehniku, prikazati njezin razvoj kroz povijest i potaknuti zainteresiranost za drugačiji način prikazivanja tradicionalnih motiva.

Abstract (english)

This thesis discusses the double exposure, photographic technique in which two or more different scenes overlap within the same photographic frame.

The theoretical part describes the beginnings of the application of this technique throughout history, and its initial application in analogue photography until today, when it is often used in digital photography. In the experimental part three methods of obtaining double exposure were used. The first method uses analog camera Nikon FM2. In this method, it is important to stop winding the film after shooting the first frame (darker), so that the re-triggering (brighter frame) exposes the same part of the film. The second method uses a digital camera Nikon D5100 and its options multiple exposure and image overlay which can capture multiple exposures directly in the camera. Double exposure is obtained in a way that after shooting the first exposure, in a certain time period of re-opening the shutter, we change the frame. The third method shows the ability to obtain the same techniques in photo editing program Adobe Photoshop. The main aim is to present and compare the techniques of double exposure, starting from the beginning by making a double exposure in the analog camera, all the way to making a double exposure by selecting the option available in digital camera, and also processing the image in a program to achieve the same effect. The aim of this thesis is to get insight into the not so new, but progressively interesting technique used by today's photographers, to show its development through history and to encourage interest of displaying traditional motives in a different way.
