Abstract

Razvoj grafičke tehnologije kroz povijest se odvijao u korak s razvojem drugih tehnologija čija je implementacija u grafičku tehnologiju bila moguća. Napretkom laserske i računalne tehnologije stvoren je preduvjet za razvoj digitalnog tiska. Najizraženija prednost tehnike digitalnog tiska je mogućnost tiska na zahtjev, čime je omogućena ispaltivost tiska malih naklada. Bez obzira na veličinu naklade i tehniku tiska zahtjevi za kvalitetom i vjerodostojnosti otiska rastu. Vjerodostojnost otiska ovisi o vrsti motiva i tonova na otisku, a može se provjeravati vizualnom procjenom i mjernim postupcima. Ljudski mozak pamti tonove kojima su oči svakodnevno izložene poput tonova ljudske kože. Stoga odstupanja u kvaliteti reprodukcija takvih tonova mogu biti uočljivija, što dodatno povećava zahtjeve za nihovom kvalitetom i vjerodostojnošću. U ovom radu je provedena analiza pamtljivosti i tolerancije tonova ljudske kože. U računalnom programu su uzorcima s motivom ljudske kože i motivom eksterijera dodane 4 skupine tonova. Kod svakog uzorka je zasebno dodan jedan ton u različitim postotcima (3%, 6%, 9% i 12%). Odstupanje CIE L*a*b* vrijednosti otisaka u odnosu na predložak ispitano je sperktroforometrijaskim mjerenjima. U okviru rada je analizirana pamtljivost i percepcija tonova na temelju vizualne procjene ispitanika. Rezultati upućuju na razliku u pamtljivosti tonova između uzoraka s motivom ljudske kože i uzoraka s motivom neke druge višebojne reprodukcije.

Abstract (english)

Development of graphical technology throughout history proceeded in step with the progress of those technologies that could implement in graphical technology. Advances in laser and computer technology boosted the development of digital printing. The most prominent advantage of digital printing is the possibility of printing on demand, which made profitability possible even for small editions. Regardless the size of the edition and the printing technique, the demands for quality and credibility of prints are increasing. Credibility of the print depends on the motive and the tones on the print, while it can be verified by using the visual evaluation or measurement techniques. Human brain memorizes the tones to which it is commonly exposed, such as the color tones of the human skin. Hence, the discrepancies in the reproduction quality of such color tones are more noticeable, which further increases the demands for their print quality and credibility. In the present work, the analysis of the memorability and tolerance of the human skin color tones is performed. The samples with human skin and exterior motives are modified by adding 4 groups of tones. In each sample only one color tone is added with certain intensity (3%, 6%, 9% and 12%) by using the computer program. Deviation of the print CIE L*a*b*values in comparison with the template is analyzed by the means of spectrophotometry measurements. In the scope of the study, memorability and percepcion of the color tones is analyzed based on visual evaluation of the examinees. The results indicate that there is a difference in memorability when comparing the samples with human skin color tone and samples with another motive with multicolored reproduction.
