Abstract

Moderne web stranice sve se manje izrađuju samo pomoću HTML i CSS tehnologija već se za njihovu izradu koriste CMS sustavi koji korisniku omogućuju samostalno ažuriranje i upravljanje sadržajem. Korisniku je na raspolaganju uređivač teksta u kojem je jednostavno raditi kao u Microsoft Wordu kao i povuci i pusti ( engl. drag & drop ) metoda kojom se dodaju slike, dokumenti i video zapisi. WordPress, nekada najraširenija blogerska platforma, danas najkorišteniji CMS sustav na svijetu, pogodan je za to. Web stranica Udruge hrvatskih srednjoškolskih ravnatelja je redizajnirana upravo pomoću WordPressa čiju je funkcionalnost lako proširiti pomoću raznih dodataka ( engl. plugins ) poput foto galerija, Google karti, kontakt formi i sl. U ovom diplomskom radu cilj je osuvremeniti i poboljšati funkcionalnost postojeće web stranice udruge. Dvije ankete provedene su na ukupno 40 ispitanika koji su uspoređivali postojeći i novi dizajn web stranice te ocjenjivali redizajniranu web stranicu. Praktični dio ovog rada sama je izrada web stranice, a taj je postupak objašnjen u koracima od definicije web tehnologija preko instalacije WordPress sustava do izrade same web stranice.

Abstract (english)

Modern web pages today are not made using only HTML and CSS technologies but using CMS systems which allow independent update and management for average user. User can add and edit text in a text editor similar to Microsoft Word and drag & drop pictures, documents and videos.

WordPress, leader among blogging platforms and the most used CMS system in the world today, is ideal for that. Association of Croatian Secondary School Principal's web page is mildly redesigned using WordPress whose functionality can be extended easily using various plugins like photo galleries, Google maps, contact forms etc.

Purpose of this thesis is to modernize and improve current web page of the association. 40 respondents participated in two survives where they were comparing current and new design of the web pages and evaluating redesigned web page.

Practical part of the thesis is building a web page, and that process is explained in steps from defining web technologies via installing WordPress system to actual building of web page.
