Abstract

Svrha ovog diplomskog rada je kroz praktični dio izrade vizualnog identiteta informatičke
tvrtke provesti istraživanje koje se bazira na pretpostavci da se moderne informatičke
tehnologije mogu učinkovito prezentirati kroz logo tvrtke. Sam cilj istraživanja je ispitati je li
kroz grafičko rješenje zaštitnog znaka moguće uspješno prezentirati glavnu karakteristiku
tvrtke - njenu modernost, odnosno usklađenost njenih usluga s aktualnim trendovima. Prvi
korak do cilja bio je izrada različitih idejnih rješenja zaštitnih znakova koji će se prikazati
kroz knjigu standarda. Eksperimentalni dio uključivao je evaluaciju predloženih rješenja sa
strane ciljane skupine definiranog dobnog raspona (od 18 do 55 godina). Na temelju dobivenih
rezultata odabrano je optimalno rješenje zaštitnog znaka, te je uniformiranost njegove
primjene definirana kroz izradu knjige grafičkih standarda. Osim što se dobivenim rezultatima
stekao uvid u korisničku percepciju zaštitnog znaka, potvrdila se i njegova učinkovitost na
području popularnih informatičkih tehnologija. Utvrđeno je da se kroz praktičnu primjenu
grafički efektnih rješenja na kojima se temelji vizualni identitet određene informatičke tvrtke
logo može učinkovito koristiti kao jedan od glavnih elementa prikaza modernosti ponude.

Abstract (english)

The topic of this thesis is to conduct research based on the basic hypothesis through the
practical part of creating the visual identity of an IT company: "Modern information
technologies can be effectively presented through the company logo." The aim of this research
is to examine whether it is possible to successfully present the main characteristic of the
company through the graphic design of the trademark - its modernity and the compliance of
its services with current trends. The first step is to create different conceptual solutions of the
logo with which the selected design will be presented through the creation of the brand book.
The experimental part included the evaluation of the proposed solutions by the target group
of the defined age range (from 18 to 55 years). Based on the obtained results, the optimal
trademark solution was selected, and the uniformity of its application was defined through the
creation of the brand book. In addition to the fact that the obtained results gained insight into
the user's perception of the trademark and its effectiveness in the field of popular IT
technologies was also confirmed. It has been established that through the practical application
of graphically effective solutions on which the visual identity of a certain IT company is
based, the logo can be effectively used as one of the main elements of presenting the
modernity of the offer.
