Abstract

Ovaj završni rad bavi se stripovima kao vizualnom umjetnosti a šire dijelom

kulture koje zbog njihove inventivnosti, mašte i lucidnosti treba čitati, analizirati i

visoko cijeniti kao umjetničku vještinu i doseg.

U ovom radu raspravljati će se o povijesti i razvoju američkog stripa u razdoblju

od 1950. do 2000. godine. Ondje se posebno izdvojila Marvel kompanija na

čelu s glavnim urednikom Stanom Lee-jem. Kao i svaka uspješna tvrtka, Marvel

je imao svoje uspone i padove, ali je čak i u sjeni rata nastavio njegovati

sekvencijsku umjetnost superheroja koji toliko inspririraju svoje čitatelje.

Marvelov svijet superheroja poprilično je velik a likove izdvajaju neuobičajena

svojstva koja ih čine originalnim te će se u ovom radu spomenuti oni koji su

proslavili Marvel diljem svijeta.

Na idućim stranicama doznat ćemo kako se stripovska forma razvijala kroz

povijest, analizirat ćemo izgled stripa, zatim slijedi rasprava o prijašnjim

imenima Marvel tvrtke i razvoj njihovih stripova kroz desetljeća budući da je to

glavna tema ovog rada.

Abstract (english)

This final work deals with the comics as visual arts and the wider part of the

culture that due to their inventiveness, imagination and clarity should be read,

analyzed and highly appreciated as artistic skill and range.

This paper will discuss the history and development of American comics in the

period from 1950 to 2000. There is specially allocated Marvel company, led by

chief editor Stan Lee. Like any successful company, Marvel has had its ups and

downs, but even in the shadow of the war continued to nurture sequential art of

superheroes who inspire their readers.

The world of Marvel’s superheroes is quite large and the characters stand out

with their unusual features that make them original and in this paper will be

mentioned those who celebrated Marvel worldwide.

On the following pages we will find out how the comic form evolved through

history, we will analyze the appearance of comics, followed by discussion of the

previous names of the Marvel company and development of their comics

through the decades since this is the main theme of this work.
