Abstract

Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je proučavanje i odreĎivanje raznih kriterija koji su odgovorni za odabir materijala prilikom oblikovanja raznovrsnih grafičkih proizvoda. Na primjerima iz vlastite grafičke prakse obradit će se povezanost izmeĎu grafičkih proizvoda, njihovog oblikovanja, te materijala na kojima se otiskuju. Uz generalno pojašnjavanje osnovnih grafičkih materijala, kao što su papir i karton, te njihovnih najosnovnijih i najvaţnijih svojstava i primjene u grafičkoj tehnologiji, objasnit će se i najzastupljeniji grafički proizvodi koji su dio svakidašnjeg ljudskog ţivota. Kroz primjere iz prakse pokušat će se objasniti sinteza, te interakcija izmeĎu grafičkog dizajna i materijala u grafičkoj industriji. Pokušat će se objasniti, na stvarnim i konkretnim primjerima, kako je kvaliteta grafičkog proizvoda produkt pravilnog izbora grafičkih materijala koji je u funkciji optimalnog grafičkog oblikovanja.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this thesis is to study and define the various criteria that are responsible for the selection of materials when designing a variety of graphic products. On the examples from my graphic practice it will be processed the connection between graphic products, their design and material on which they are printed. In addition to generally clarify the basic graphic material such as paper and cardboard, and their most basic and most important properties and applications in printing technology, it will also be explained the most common graphical products that are part of an everyday human life. Through the examples from practices I will try to explain the synthesis and interaction between graphic design and materials in the printing industry. On real and concrete exapmles I will explain how the graphical quality of the product is a product of proper selection of graphic material in the optimal function of graphic design.
