Abstract

Kriptografija je znanost koja proučava metode dijeljenja tajnih informacija na način da je tajna vidljiva samo onome kome je namjenjena. Kroz povijest su se razvijale različite uspješne i manje uspješne sigurnosne tehnike, no u 20. stoljeću razvijena je vizualna kriptografija, koja omogućuje da se tajna informacija šifrira tako da se dešifriranje može izvršiti koristeći isključivo ljudski vizualni sustav. U ovom diplomskom radu je opisano ispitivanje sigurnosnih i tehničkih karakteristika (2, 2) vizualne sheme praga, koje je provedeno implementacijom algoritma za generiranje dijelova tajne slike u MATLAB okruženju. Rezultati pokazuju kako je navedena tehnika pogodna za šifriranje jednostavnijih informacija, poput binarne slike ili teksta, no pri šifriranju kompleksnijih slika može doći do određenih deformacija.

Abstract (english)

Cryptography is the science that studies methods of sharing classified information in a way that the secret is visible only to those whom it is intended. Various successful and less successful security techniques were developed throughout the past, but in the 20th century visual cryptography was developed, which allows encrypting secret information in a way that decryption can be performed using only the human visual system. This thesis presents the research of security and technical characteristics of (2, 2) visual threshold scheme, which was carried out by implementing the algorithm for generating shares of the secret image in MATLAB environment. The results show that the mentioned technique is suitable for encrypting simple information, such as binary image or text, but when encoding more complex images, certain deformations may occur.
