Abstract

Papir je najzastupljenija tiskovna podloga za otiskivanje ambalaže i etiketa. Pošto je osnovni izvor sirovine za proizvodnju papirnatih tiskovnih podloga u svijetu još uvijek drvo, globalna svijest o rizicima eksploatacija šuma je u porastu kao i važnost recikliranja i pronalaženja alternativnih izvora celuloznih vlakanca. More starenje neizbježan proces svake tiskovne podloge ali i otiska, a degradacija kvalitete otiska uslijed starenja uveliko ovisi o svojstvima tiskovne podloge i boje, ovo je istraživanje usmjereno na analizu kvalitete i optičku stabilnost otiska na tiskovnim podlogama s vlakancima slame nakon izlaganja prirodnom i ubrzanom starenju. Tiskovne podloge za potrebe ovog istraživanja izrađene su u laboratorijskim uvjetima miješanjem reciklirane drvne pulpe s različitim udjelima vlakanca slame. Tiskovne podloge potom su otisnute digitalnom tehnikom (UV inkjet), te nakon spektrofotometrijskih mjerenja odvojene u dvije skupine (za prirodno i za ubrzano starenje u uređaju SunTEST XLS+). Cilj ovog rada je usporediti i istražiti kvalitetu i optičku stabilnost otiska na osnovu promjena kolorimetrijskih vrijednosti i definiranja Euklidove razlike boje (ΔE₀₀) nakon izlaganja starenju. Paper is the most common printing medium for printing packaging and labels. As the main source of raw material for the production of paper printing substrates in the world is still wood, global awareness of the risks of forest exploitation is on the rise as is the importance of recycling and finding alternative sources of cellulose fibers. Since aging is an inevitable process of any printing substrate but also of the printed substrate and the degradation of print quality due to aging largely depends on the properties of the printing substrate and inks. This research is focused on the analysis of the quality and optical stability of prints on printing substrate containing straw fibers after exposure to natural and accelerated aging. Press substrates for the purposes of this study were made in laboratory conditions by mixing recycled wood pulp with different proportions of straw fiber. The printing media were then printed by digital technique (UV inkjet), and after spectrophotometric measurements separated into two groups (for natural and accelerated aging in the SunTEST XLS + device).
