Abstract

Fotografija dronom predstavlja sveprisutnu i dinamičnu disciplinu u suvremenom svijetu
vizualne umjetnosti i komercijalne primjene. Ova tehnika omogućuje snimanje jedinstvenih
perspektiva iz zraka koristeći bespilotne letjelice, poznate kao dronovi. Glavne prednosti
uključuju nevjerojatne poglede i šire perspektive nadzemnih krajolika, gradova i dogaĎanja,
otvarajući vrata kreativnoj slobodi i inovacijama. Fotografija dronom ima mnoge praktične
primjene, uključujući turizam, nekretnine, inspekciju, film i video produkciju, nadgledanje i
istraţivanje. Sve više pristupačnih dronova i razvoj visokih rezolucija čine ovu tehniku
dostupnom širokom spektru korisnika. MeĎutim, izazovi kao što su zakoni i regulative o upotrebi
dronova, potreba za tehničkim vještinama i zakonodavna ograničenja zahtijevaju paţljivo
razmatranje. Ovaj diplomski rad istraţuje raznolike aspekte fotografije dronom kako bi bolje
razumjeli njezinu popularnost i utjecaj na suvremenu vizualnu kulturu i industriju.

Abstract (english)

Drone photography is a ubiquitous and dynamic discipline in the contemporary world of visual
art and commercial applications. This technique allows capturing unique perspectives from the
air using unmanned aerial vehicles, known as drones. Key benefits include incredible views and
wider perspectives of overhead landscapes, cities and events, opening the door to creative
freedom and innovation. Drone photography has many practical applications, including tourism,
real estate, inspection, film and video production, surveillance and research. More and more
affordable drones and the development of high resolutions make this technique accessible to a
wide range of users. However, challenges such as laws and regulations on the use of drones, the
need for technical skills and legislative restrictions require careful consideration. This thesis
explores the diverse aspects of drone photography to better understand its popularity and impact
on contemporary visual culture and industry.
