Abstract

Kroz ovaj završni rad ustanoviti ćemo koliko je spoj nanotehnologije i tiskarstva

pridonio novom obliku otiskivanja u svrhu dobivanja boljeg otiska te sama ekonomska

isplatljivost.

Nanotehnologija se bavi istraživanjem i manipulacijom materijala u atomskom,

molekularnom i makromolekularnom obliku. S obzirom na njihovu „nano“ veličinu,

takvi materijali pokazuju znatno drugačija električna, optička, magnetska i mehanička

svojstva nego na makroskopskoj veličini.

Ključan element nanografije je NanoInk, bojila na bazi vode koja se sastoje od

nanočestica pigmenata čija optička svojstva pospješuju apsorpciju svjetlosti te daju

puno čišće i jače boje.

Tisak započinje štrcanjem kapljica bojila na zagrijanu prijenosnu traku.Voda iz bojila

na traci isparava te se na tiskovnu podlogu prenosi suhi polimerni film debljine oko 500

nm. Tisak je moguć na svim podlogama jer se boja prenosi suha, pa nije potrebno

naknadno sušenje i otisak je odmah spreman za upotrebu. Tanki film bojila na podlozi i

nanopigmenti daju visokokvalitetne otiske, uz uštedu energije i količine bojila

potrebnog za tisak.

Strojevi su dizajnirani za tisak na arke (B1-B3 formati) i tisak iz role, s mogučnošću

višebojnog tiska od 4 do 8 boja.

Nanografskom tiskom omogućen je tisak gotovo svih grafičkih proizvoda; publikacija,

komercijalnog tiska, tiska sklopivih kutija i tiska ambalaže.

Abstract (english)

Through this work, we will establish how much the combination of nanotechnology and

printing has contributed to form a new type of printing technique in order to obtain a

better print and the economic viability itself.

Nanotechnology deals with the research and manipulation of materials in atomic,

molecular and macromolecular form. Given their "nano" size, such materials show

significantly different electrical, optical, magnetic and mechanical properties than their

macroscopic size.

A key element of nanography is NanoInk, a water-based dye consisting of nanoparticles

of pigments whose optical properties enhance light absorption and give much cleaner and

stronger colors.

The printing begins by spraying drops of dye on the heated transfer blanket. The water

from the dye on the blanket evaporates and a dry polymer film about 500 nm thick is

transferred to the printing substrate. Printing is possible on all substrates because the ink

is transferred dry, so no subsequent drying is required and the print is immediately ready

for use. The thin film of ink on the substrate and nanopigments give high-quality prints,

while saving energy and the amount of ink needed for printing.

The machines are designed for sheet-fed printing (B1-B3 formats) and roll printing, with

the possibility of multicolor printing from 4 to 8 colors.

Nanographic printing enables the printing of almost all graphic products; publications,

commercial printing, folding box printing and packaging printing.
